Union Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Electronics & IT, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, highlighted the transformative impact of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance model on the development of the North-Eastern region.

Speaking at a meeting organized by the Janjati Morcha initiative in Tripura, Chandrasekhar emphasized that the region has become an attractive destination for investors due to the government’s focus on service to people, good governance, and the welfare of the poor.

In his address, Chandrasekhar pointed out the lack of development and connectivity in the North-East before 2014, which discouraged investors.

However, he praised the significant progress made in the region over the past nine years under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.

Chandrasekhar noted that the improved infrastructure, including roads, railways, and air connectivity, has transformed the North-East, attracting foreign countries to engage with the region.

Chandrasekhar also commended Prime Minister Modi’s relentless dedication to the country’s development and progress.

He emphasized that India no longer relies on other nations for help but has become stronger under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.

Chandrasekhar highlighted India’s ability to withstand pressure from other countries and terrorist groups, asserting that the nation’s resolute responses have made potential attackers think twice.

During his three-day visit to Tripura, the Minister engaged with various sections of the population, assessing the progress of skilling efforts in the state and addressing concerns related to market linkages, capacity building, and employment generation.
