JRBT: Cong slams Govt
The Tripura Pradesh Congress criticized the ruling state government over the recruitment in government departments through Joint Recruitment Board of Tripura (JRBT).
Addressing a press conference in Agartala, Congress leader Prabir Chakraborty alleged irregularities in the JRBT recruitment. He cited the instance of five successful candidates who obtained higher marks yet not considered for recruitment.
Those five candidates moved the High Court of Tripura and the HC directed the Government to recruit them within a month. This incident shows the irregularities. We do not want termination of job of any candidate, rather we demand recruitment of all those who were deprived, said Chakraborty.
He also criticized distribution of offer letters by the Chief Minister and other ministers in a phased manner and publicly.
