Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha reiterated a resounding commitment to bolstering the state’s health infrastructure. 

Speaking at the grand celebration marking the 1st foundation day of Agartala Government Dental College at Rabindra Satabarsiki Bhavan in Agartala on Monday, Dr. Saha lauded the monumental transformation witnessed in Tripura’s health infrastructure, attributing it to the ardent endeavors of the present state government.

“Tripura has undergone a profound metamorphosis in health infrastructure owing to the relentless dedication of the current administration. The establishment of Agartala Government Dental College stands as an example of this progress. Our pledge remains unrelenting —to elevate this institution into a distinguished Center of Excellence and Research,” asserted Dr. Saha.

“Efforts must converge to elevate this dental college to the pinnacle of healthcare services, transforming it into a beacon of pride and a focal point for pioneering research within the state. The infrastructure of Agartala Government Dental College stands shoulder to shoulder with premier institutions across the nation. Esteemed faculty members who have graced this institution have lauded its infrastructure. Swift approval from the Dental Council of India underscores its quality. Setting up this college was not devoid of challenges, yet through tireless endeavors, it became a reality,” Dr. Saha emphasized.

The Chief Minister also underscored Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dedication to bolstering infrastructure development in the North Eastern region since assuming office in 2014.

“The Prime Minister staunchly believes that the nation’s development hinges on the advancement of the North-East. His sincere efforts have culminated in monumental strides in infrastructure, including the communication network, within the state,” Dr. Saha added.

Chief Secretary JK Sinha, Agartala Government Dental College Principal Shalu Roy, Indian Dental Association State Branch president Dr. Samir Ranjan Dutta Chowdhury, Health Department Secretary Dr. Sandip R.
