Agartala, April 3: In an administrative reshuffle, the Government of Tripura has issued a notification effecting key transfers and additional charges for senior IAS officers in the state.
The move, undertaken in the interest of public service, has been enforced with immediate effect.
According to the notification issued by the General Administration (Personnel & Training) Department, Muhammad Sajad P., IAS, who was serving as the Director of Skill Development, Agartala, has been transferred and posted as the District Magistrate and Collector of South Tripura District, Belonia.
He replaces Pradeep K., IAS, who was holding additional charge of the position.
Dr. Shailesh, IAS, the Municipal Commissioner of Agartala Municipal Corporation, has been transferred and posted as the Director of Industries & Commerce, Tripura.
Additionally, he will continue to hold several key positions, including Director of Skill Development, Mission Director of the Tripura Bamboo Mission, and Managing Director of TIDC Ltd.
Meanwhile, Dr. Vishal Kumar, IAS, who currently serves as the District Magistrate & Collector of West Tripura District, will also assume the additional role of Municipal Commissioner, Agartala Municipal Corporation.
In another key appointment, Vivek H. B., IAS, Commissioner of Taxes, Tripura, has been assigned additional responsibilities as Director of Urban Development, Mission Director of Agartala Smart City Ltd., CEO of Agartala Smart City Ltd., and Commissioner of TUDA, as well as CEO of the Tripura Jal Board.
Furthermore, Kuntal Das, IAS, Additional Secretary in the RD Department, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Director (Projects), SLMC of the RD Department. She will also take on the role of Mission Director of the Swachha Bharat Mission (Grameen).
