Speaking at a felicitation event organized by the School Education Department at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan, Dr. Saha highlighted that educational development has been prioritized across both rural and urban regions of the state.
During the programme, the Chief Minister felicitated schools that achieved a perfect 100% pass rate in the Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinations under the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) and CBSE (Vidyajyoti schools).
“The state government is investing in the development of academic infrastructure and introducing new schemes to uplift the education sector. We are also establishing an Education Hub and a Health Hub in Tripura as part of our broader developmental vision,” Dr. Saha said.
He further noted that this recognition of high-performing schools would foster healthy competition among institutions across the state, motivating others to improve academic performance. Representatives from all the schools that achieved 100% results were present at the event.

“Other schools will draw inspiration from this. Teachers play a crucial role in determining student outcomes. That’s why the government is focusing on appointing qualified educators. Teaching also requires continuous training, and policy guidelines must be adhered to. The state is ensuring quality recruitment through TET and TRBT,” he stated.
Dr. Saha stressed that quality education is non-negotiable and essential for Tripura’s progress.
Senior officials, including Raval Hemendra Kumar, Special Secretary of the Education Department; N.C. Sharma, Director of Education; and L. Darlong, Director of SCERT, attended the event as special guests.
