CBSE XII Exam: Ram Krishna Mission school students shine bright

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Viveknagar recorded significant success in AISSCE (Class XII Board Exam)-2020, conducted by CBSE.

Out of 50 candidates in the Science stream and 8 candidates in the Humanities stream, all the students secured First Division. Prantaneel Debnath secured the highest marks - 483 out of 500 (i.e. 96.6%).

The second highest mark in the school - 477 went to Arkit Bhattacharjee. The third position in the school was bagged jointly by Abir Gope Mandal and Ariv Debnath (95.2%).

All together out of 58 students there are 24 students who have scored more than 90%, 48 students who have scored more than 80% and there are 53 students who have scored above 75%.

The highest marks in the school in different subjects are as follows: 96 in English, 99 in Mathematics, 98 in Physics, 97 in Chemistry, 97 in Biology, 97 in Informatics Practices (IP), 96 in Economics, 95 in History, 98 in Political Science, and 97 in Geography. 47 students in English, 28 students in Mathematics, 40 students in Physics, 37 students in Chemistry, 33 students in Biology and 12 students in Informatics Practices have scored Letter marks.

In Humanities stream there were 8 candidates and all have secured First Division. Soumyadeep Biswas scored highest percentage (95.4%) in the school. Seven students in Geography, 6 students in History and 4 students in Political Science and 3 in Economics scored Letter marks.

Swami Hitakamananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Viveknagar and Swami Vidyamritananda, Principal, of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya congratulated the students, the teachers, the guardians and all other members of Vidyalaya for the commendable performance of the school.
