Photo of Security Jawan Babysitting for voter at Polling Station Melts Hearts

A heartwarming photo of one security personnel babysitting for a voter at a polling station during the East Tripura Lok Sabha elections on Friday has garnered widespread appreciation and has gone viral on social media.

The photo was captured at Polling Booth No. 57/33, located at the Uptakhali Panchayat Office in Dharmanagar, North Tripura. This booth falls under the jurisdiction of the 57 Jubarajnagar Assembly Constituency and is part of the East Tripura Parliamentary Constituency.

During the day, a woman voter arrived at the polling station with her infant child. To assist her, a Central Security Forces jawan, identified as Head Constable Mantu Boro of E/124 BN CRPF, held her child while she went inside the voting compartment to cast her vote.

The E/124 BN CRPF is currently stationed at Krishnapur H S School, Dharmanagar, North Tripura for the second phase of the General Parliamentary Election which ended today.

The photo, which beautifully highlights the commitment of our security forces in serving the people, has been hailed as one of the best taken during a poll. What stands out is the trust the mother placed in the jawan, leaving her baby under his care while she exercised her democratic rights. This sentiment was echoed by a veteran journalist who praised the photo for its poignant depiction of service and trust.
