Iman, Fakira Band and Kunal Ganjawala to perform in Milan Mela 2025 in Unakoti district
Anticipation is building as the cultural extravaganza in Unakoti District, Milan Mela 2025, is set to commence in Fatikroy.
Among other attractions, popular singers like Iman Chakroborty and Kunal Ganjawala will perform in the Milan Mela 2025. Fakira Band will add further musical flavour.
With the initiative of local MLA and Minister Sudhangshu Das, the Milan Mela 2025 will be jointly organized by the Rajnagar and Fatikroy Gram Panchayats.
This much-anticipated cultural fair will take place from January 29 to February 1 at the grounds of the Fatikroy HS+2 school in Fatikroy.
This year marks the fifth edition of Milan Mela, a significant cultural event in the region, designed to entertain and celebrate local heritage.
Chief Minister of Tripura, Professor Dr. Manik Saha, will officially inaugurate the fair.
Preparations are already in full swing, with Minister Sudhangshu Das, who also serves as the Chairman of the Fair Committee, leading multiple preparatory meetings with administrative officials, including the Unakoti District Magistrate and the Superintendent of Police, to ensure the event’s success.
In a media interaction following preparatory meetings, Minister Das expressed high hopes for the fair, emphasizing its role in fostering community spirit and providing a platform for cultural enthusiasts.
“There is immense excitement among the people of the area and the state regarding this fair. We aim to deliver an event that blends entertainment with cultural celebration,” he said.
Cultural Highlights and Star Performances
The four-day fair promises an exciting lineup of entertainment. Each evening, from 6 pm to 8 pm, local artists will showcase their talents on the fairgrounds. This will be followed by musical nights featuring prominent artists, adding a touch of grandeur to the event.
One of the key attractions is the celebrated singer Iman Chakraborty, who will perform on January 30, the second day of the fair. Known for her soulful renditions, Iman's performance is expected to captivate audiences.
On January 31, the third day, the energetic Fakira Band will take the stage, bringing their unique fusion of folk and contemporary music to the crowd.
The grand finale, scheduled for February 1, will feature the renowned Bollywood playback singer Kunal Ganjawala. With hits like *Bheege Honth Tere* and *Dil Na Diya*, Kunal’s performance is expected to be a crowd-puller, ensuring the fair concludes on a high note.

As the success of the Milan Mela 2025 hinges on the collective effort of the local community, officials, and organizing committees, Minister Das appealed for everyone’s cooperation, emphasizing that the fair is not just an event but a celebration of unity and cultural pride.
