Police Medal for six Tripura cops, one for Home Guards
On the eve of Republic Day six policemen from Tripura were awarded with Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
According official statement Keshab Hari Jamatia, Inspector, presently posted in North Tripura, Siddhartha Sankar Kar, Inspector, presently posted as Officer in charge of Amtali police station, Ganesh Chandra Deb, SI presently in Gomati district, Parimal Das, ASI, posted in Agartala, Haripada Bhaumik, ASI posted in Kalamchowra, Kripamoy Chakma, ASI posted in Gomati were awarded with the coveted Police Medal. Besides, Akhil Debbarma has been also awarded with President’s Home Guards Volunteer and Civil Defence Medal.
In a tweet, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb wrote, “On the eve of #RepublicDay , 6 Police personnel of @Tripura_Police have been selected for Police Medal for Meritorious Service. I congratulate all awardees.”
