Tripura Shine in Folk Dance and Science Exhibition at National Youth Festival 2025
Tripura excelled in both the folk dance and science exhibition categories at the National Youth Festival 2025 and the National Youth Dialogue 2025 for Vikshit Bhaarat (Developed India) on January 11 at Bharat Mandapam.
These events, sponsored by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India under the aegis of the Prime Minister, saw Tripura clinch third place in the traditional track events.
In the team folk dance segment, Maharashtra claimed the top spot, with Karnataka and Tripura rounding out second and third respectively.
The folk music team competition saw a different order, with Manipur leading, followed by Karnataka in second, and Maharashtra securing third.

n the storytelling competition, Arya Sharma from Uttar Pradesh took the gold, while Ningthoujam from Manipur and Amit Kumar from Uttar Pradesh earned silver and bronze respectively.
The poetry competition was won by Sunayana Saxena of Uttar Pradesh, with Lavanya Malik from Haryana securing second place, and Sanjay Dutt Sharma from Madhya Pradesh coming in third.
Ajay Kumar from Uttar Pradesh dominated the painting competition, followed by Jagannath Das from Odisha in second, and Anamika Gupta from Rajasthan in third.
In the debate, Anushka Banerjee from Maharashtra stood atop the podium, with Swati Raj from Jharkhand and Sneha Devi from Jammu and Kashmir taking second and third.
The science exhibition was led by Vishwasmita Ramraje Mane from Maharashtra, with Ridhima Kapoor from Haryana in second, and Tripura's Sadhan Saha and Tanmay Das sharing the third spot.
The victorious teams from Tripura were celebrated by officials from the central ministry, state government, and state youth icons at the National Youth Festival and Developed India National Youth Dialogue 2025.
