Fire in shops, houses to be considered as state-specific disaster

Agartala, July 28, 2019: The State Executive Committee of Tripura Disaster Management Authority (TDMA) headed by Chief Secretary in its last meeting has approved fire in shops and houses (except riot, political violence and intentional or insured) as state-specific disaster.

According to a memorandum issued relating to this, for getting assistance from State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) on the newly added State specific Disaster, the proposal should be verified thoroughly by the local administration/ DM and Collectors and ensure that the assistance is not duplicated with any other schemes/provisions of the State Government or Government of India.
