Agartala, February 26, 2019: On 11th day – the day of ‘Shraddha’ (rituals after death), IAF avenged dastardly terror attack on CRPF by JeM and like other places in India, Tripura erupted in joy. On rain-soaked Tuesday morning, people wake up lazily, but laziness was short-lived and soon overwhelmed after knowing about successful pre-dawn aerial strike carried out by the IAF jawans.
As day progressed, people took to the streets and an atmosphere of celebration prevailed in the Agartala and other areas of the State. People saluted the valour of IAF and raised slogan hailing Indian army.
As cheering crowd was celebrating the ‘attack’, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb lauded the jawans of Indian Air Force (IAF) for carrying out an air strike on Jaish-e-Mohammed’s training pads in Balakot of Pakistan.
“I salute the courage and valour of our fearless armed forces. Under the strong and decisive leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji, our beloved motherland is secure and marching ahead on the path of development towards becoming a # NewIndia”, he tweeted.
Holding Tri-colour flags and placards, hundreds of youth rushed in the city with slogans renting in the air. Gleaming crowd burst firecrackers and a deep respect towards the IAF Jawans captured the heart of city. People hailed the aerial attack and expressed joy terming the attack as a counter of the “Pulwama” incident which left the entire country in a shock.
Today’s aerial attack was also hailed by the opposition leaders and was considered as a strategic move against the anti-Indian elements launched in Pakistan.
