ProMASS: DEC 12,2016: President of Indonesia Joko Widodo will have delegation level talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi this afternoon. Some agreements will be signed after the talks.Mr. Widodo will also meet President Pranab Mukherjee and Vice President Mohammed Hamid Ansari. The Indonesian President had a ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan this morning.President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed Mr. Widodo and his wife HJ Iriana at the forecourt of the the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The visiting dignitary was accorded a guard of honour. He also visited Rajghat and offered respects at memorial of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. Mr. Widodo arrived in New Delhi for a two-day visit to India. President Widodo is accompanied by a high level delegation including several cabinet ministers, senior officials and a 22 member business delegation.
