Agartala, Jun 11, 2019: Jawans of 29 Assam Rifles organized a workshop on women empowerment at Kanchanpur under North Tripura district on Monday last.
The lecture covered measures to improve the socio-economic condition of women especially in rural areas and ways to empower them.
Total 76 locals which included 63 ladies and 13 Male attended the educative workshop. Various government schemes for women empowerment were told. Efforts of Assam Rifles was well appreciated by the civil administration and locals.
