Dasda Block Project Management Unit (BPMU) has been recognised as the Best Performing Unit under the Tripura Rural Economic Growth and Service Delivery Project (TRESP) during the North Tripura district-level review meeting. The district administration also honoured three community resource persons for their contributions to livestock, fisheries and agriculture-based livelihood promotion.

Dharmanagar: The Block Project Management Unit (BPMU), Dasda, has been awarded the Best Performing BPMU under the TRESP during the North District-Level Review Meeting and Annual Action Plan discussion for the financial year 2026-27 held by the District Project Management Unit (DPMU), North Tripura.

The recognition was announced during a district review chaired by the District Magistrate of North Tripura, where officials evaluated the implementation of TRESP across the district and approved priorities for the coming financial year.

Senior officials attending the meeting included the Additional District Magistrate, Block Development Officers of Dasda, Laljuri, Jampui Hill and Damcherra RD Blocks, the Deputy Director of the Animal Resources Development Department (ARDD), the Sub-Divisional Fishery Officer, TRESP officials and representatives from various line departments.
