Agartala, September 05, 2019: The team of Bangladesh Mukti Joddha Trust that has arrived Tripura on September 4, visited a number of places of the state where from the Liberation Fighters of Bangladesh used to to stay, chalk out and carry out operations during Liberation War of Bangladesh.
The 35 member team under the leadership of Chairman of the Trust Dr. Abula Kalam Azad and MP of Comilla AKM Bahauddin Bahar at first visited Charilam and Melagarh – both under Sepahijala in Tripura.
They interacted with the locals and expressed their devotion towards the land of Tripura. The team also participated in a courtesy meeting at Tripura University guest house in the morning. Bangladesh Assistant High Commissioner Kiriti Chakma, Vice Chancellor Tripura University VL Dharurkar and other faculty members of various departments remained present on the occasion.
Notably, they came here in Tripura to celebrate the centenary celebration of Bangabandhu Sheikh Majibur Rahman’s birth anniversary and 3 years longs golden jubilee celebration Independence.
