A Class X student of Tripura excelled in an international examination and secured 2nd position at the Global level. The boy –Dipanjan Nag- of a humble family of Dharmanagar in North Tripura is a student of BBI. His success at the global level opens possibilities to pursue highly sophisticated higher study under sponsorship of NASA and/or ISRO.

“Dipanjan Nag of BBI School of Dharmanagar secured top position in India and 2nd position at the global level examinations. Dipanjan excelled in an international exam conducted by the World Science Technology and Mathematical Society. He scored 297 out of total 300 marks in the exam”, sources confirmed.
World Science Technology and Mathematical Society conducted the exam through an online platform on August 8 last and result was announced on August 14. According to the documents available, he topped among the competing fellow students of India and overall, he secured 2nd position among all the competing students of different countries.
”Total 92 candidates have been shortlisted from different countries through this examination. Another round of examination will be held in coming December from which 53 students will be selected. In the final stage, only 25 will be picked from selected 53 students through interviews”, Dipanjan said. He also added NASA will sponsor higher studies of this final list of 25 students.
Exalted but cautious, Dipanjan’s father – a private tutor by profession said, “Dipanjan’s success has only opened possibility of obtaining NASA/ ISRO sponsorships for higher studies – but he has to walk some more miles for getting the sponsorships”.
“Yes, I have to perform even better than this time in upcoming December exams and continue to do well in interview as well. I am determined to give my best”, Dipanjan said confidently.
Delighted and proud at the success of her son, mother of Dipanjan – a housewife – said, “Dipanjan was interested in mathematics and science since his childhood”. In fact, even before appearing for the World Science Technology and Mathematical Society exam, he has achieved successes in other prestigious competitions. Besides being an Inspire awardee, Dipanjan has cleared Chemistry Aptitude Test and numerous other examinations with flying colours. “So, I believe with every one’s blessings, his good show to continue”, Dipanjan’s mother commented.
