Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Sunday said ‘a section is active and hatching conspiracy’ for taking political mileage and preventing the pace of development in the state. Indirectly indicating TMC’s political movements in the state, Deb instilled confidence among the people saying that any kind of conspiracy would fail to derail the development process.
“Some parties which are trying to make inroads in Tripura are lagging behind in terms of development to a great extent. All-round development of the state is our prime goal. Tripura has set an example before the country for notable development in various sectors,” Deb wrote on his official Facebook handle on Sunday.
The Chief Minister said many people were deprived of benefits in the past following vindictive politics but, the present government was ensuring benefits of all welfare schemes to the beneficiaries without judging the political colour.
The Chief Minister on Sunday attended a special Agricultural loan delivery camp at Jirania sub-division where equipment for farming, assistance for fisheries and animal husbandry and Kisan Credit Cards were distributed among the farmers.
Addressing the programme, Deb said, “Our goal is to build Atmanirbhar Tripura through socio-economic development of citizens by generating employment to every household.”
In another note, Deb also claimed that no one died of starvation in the state following the timely decision of the government in Covid pandemic management.
As part of his regular effort to build smooth public relations up to grassroots, Deb had lunch at the house of Amal Das of Das Para during his visit to Jirania. Later Deb wrote on his Facebook handle that he was overwhelmed by the warm hospitality offered by Das’ family.
