ProMASS, Oct 29, 2016: According to AIR News, In Jammu and Kashmir, an Army jawan has been martyred in an encounter with terrorists near the LoC in Macchil sector of Kupwara district. An Army spokesman said, a group of suspected terrorists from across the LoC attacked the troops deployed on the Indian side, and in the encounter, one solider was killed.
The terrorists, later, mutilated the jawan’s body before fleeing back into Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir under the cover of firing by Pakistan Army. The spokesman said one militant was also killed in the gunbattle.
Meanwhile, Pakistani forces are resorting to heavy shelling and firing in Hiranagar sector of Kathua district in Jammu since early this morning. Defence sources said, Pakistani forces are firing in Hiranagar sector since 6 AM and BSF is giving a befitting reply. The sources also said, firing and shelling, which began last evening in RS Pura, is also continuing.
