A pro-farmer, pro-people Budget, to open new avenues for economic development: Tripura CM

The Union Budget will open new avenues of economic development and will play a major role in the development of NE through Development initiative in NE, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb wrote in his Facebook post on Tuesday.

 

Briefing media on the Union Budget 2022-23 presented by the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Parliament on Tuesday, Deb also said, “Budget presented by the Hon FM Nirmala Sitharaman Ji is an embodiment of Hon PM Sh Narendra Modi Ji's promises of fulfilling the aspiration of all Indians & has been drafted with the vision of making a New India”.

 

It is a pro-farmer and pro-poor Budget that will benefit all the sectors, the Chief Minister said and added, “It has the essence of Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas and will pave the way forward for an Aatmanirbhar Bharat. The PM Gati Shakti Master Plan will greatly strengthen the COVID affected economy and will boost the pace of the developmental in the country”.

 

Gratitude to Hon PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji & Hon FM Nirmala Sitharaman Ji for the Development Initiative for the NE, a scheme in the spirit of PM Gati Shakti to fund social development projects in NE. It will further develop the region & make it the Ashtalakshmi of the country's economy”, the Chief Minister wrote in his social media post.

 

Deb also referred the Budget as a blueprint for the next 25 years. He detailed several proposals relating to farmers, Awas Yojana etc.

 

“On behalf of people of Tripura thanking the Adarniya Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman Ji for this Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Ka Budget”, Deb commented.
