Art Meets Humanity in Tripura: 'Raqt' Blood Donation Drive and 'Walking Lens' Photography Exhibit at Rabindra Bhawan
In an inspiring combination of art and humanitarianism, "Raqt", an exclusive Blood Donation Drive paired with a one-of-a-kind "Walking Lens" Photography Exhibition in collaboration with Streets of Tripura will be held on September 28 & 29 at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan, Agartala.
This event aims to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation while celebrating the power of photography to tell human storie, said Subhadip Bhattacharya, the Secretary of the Madhurupa Memorial Cancer Welfare Society in a press release on Friday.
Bhattacharya said, Blood donation saves millions of lives each year. Through the "Raqt" Blood Donation Drive scheduled on 29th September 2024 at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan, Agartala, we hope to inspire individuals to give the most precious gift—life. Each donor will not only contribute to a critical cause but will also become part of a growing community dedicated to improving public health.

Accompanying the blood donation drive is the "Walking Lens" Annual Photography Exhibition in collaboration with Streets of Tripura, a powerful visual journey capturing raw and untold stories of humanity, struggle, and perseverance from around the world to be organized on September 28 & 29, 2024 at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan,
Curated by a diverse group of photographers, the exhibition showcases the resilience of the human spirit and the connections we all share, he said.
Attendees will have the chance to view an eclectic array of photography that transcends borders and speaks to the universal human experience, with many of the photos focusing on themes related to health, community, and compassion.
