Girls’ Hostel, Police Stn, Agri warehouse: Tripura CM opens several facilities in North Tripura

Tripura-CM-Girls-Hostel-Agriculture-North-schoolIn a whirlwind tour Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha inaugurated several projects including Religious Minority Girls’ Hostel, Kadamtala Police Station, a new building of Baghan HS School under Dharmanagar, Transit Godown having capacity 200 MT at Bagbasa and village-level Farmers’ Advisory Centre at Ichailalcherra and a new school building in North Tripura District on Tuesday (September 27).

 

“The Tripura government accorded priority to upgrading the state's education system. As a part of this endeavour, I inaugurated a newly constructed 50-bed Girls’ Hostel for religious minority girls next to Phulbari Higher Secondary School in North Tripura today.  After the inauguration, I inspected rooms of the hostel and talked to the students. I believe that the Hostel will provide scope to the students to study better”, the Chief Minister said after inaugurating the Hostel.

 

After inaugurating new buildings of Kadamtala Police Station today, Dr Saha said, “The government has paid special attention to the development of police stations. Police stations are very important for the overall safety of the public”.

 

He also said, steps should be taken so that police stations do not cause unnecessary panic to the people. It should be ensured that people get justice when they go to police station. The state government wants to earn the trust of the people. So the police should also fulfill their duties in that way, Dr Saha opined.

 

enewstime-Tripura-CM-Girls-Hostel-Agriculture-North-schoolHe also inaugurated a special campaign on ‘Proti Ghore Sushasan’ and Skill Fair and inspected the stalls opened in the fair.

 

Later speaking at the inaugural ceremony organized at Kadamtala H.S. School Ground, the Chief Minister said his government is committed for the welfare of all sections of people; the goal is to ensure the Fundamental Rights up to the last man in the society.

 

He said, the state government has been working with a special focus on making the unemployed youth Swanirbhar, women empowerment and farmers’ welfare.

 

“Our government wants to deliver the benefit of development works up to the grassroots. We want the country as well as the state to prosper further under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji,” Dr. Saha tweeted.

 

Tripura Industrial Development Corporation chairman Tinku Roy and other local officials and leaders were present in the inaugural ceremony.
