Incumbent Govt is journalist friendly, that's the difference, says Tripura CM

Tripura-Photo-journalistThe incumbent BJP-led Tripura government is, in true sense, journalist friendly. This government thinks for the overall well being of journalists. This is the difference between the previous government and the current government.

This government has taken initiatives to increase the number of accreditation cards, arrange health insurance and pension for the welfare of journalists, said Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha.

Dr. Saha, who attended the annual general meeting of Tripura Photojournalists’ Association at Agartala Press Club, said media is the mirror of the society and photo-journalists have a major role to play in bringing a positive change in the society. Their photos depict facts.

“Everything is clearly understood through the photos. Photojournalists have an outstanding contribution in changing the society. I wish the Annual General Meeting of Tripura Photojournalists Association all success and further growth of their organization”, Dr Saha said.
