ISKCON-run Jagannath temple in Tripura holds protest rally condemning attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh

A protest march was held in Baikhora Bazar, South Tripura District, as community members rallied against the recent violent attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh.

Organized by the ISKCON-run Jagannath Jiu temple in Tuesday, the march drew a large crowd of demonstrators united in their condemnation of the demolitions of Hindu temples and the assaults perpetrated by radical Islamic jihadists in Bangladesh.

The march commenced from the ISKCON-run Jagannath Jiu temple under the leadership of Prabhuji Karuneshwar Madhav Das. As participants marched through Baikhora Bazar, their chants and slogans echoed their outrage over the ongoing violence against the Hindu community in Bangladesh.

At the gathering, a diverse group of sadhus, saints, and followers of Sanatan Dharma took to the stage to express their strong disapproval of the attacks.

They emphasized the need for solidarity and resilience in the face of such communal violence against the Hindus in Bangladesh.

Prabhuji Karuneshwar Madhav Das, speaking to the media after the march, issued a stark warning to Bangladesh’s current advisor, Yunus. He said if the assaults on the Hindu minority persist, the community would escalate their protests to demand justice.

During his address, Prabhuji Karuneshwar Madhav Das challenged anyone to identify verses from the Quran that could justify the violence inflicted upon Hindus.

He said he would renounce his own faith if such verses existed in the Quran.

Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of understanding the diversity within the Muslim community, calling for a collective condemnation of violence and communal discord.

Through this protest, Prabhuji Karuneshwar Madhav Das and the assembled crowd sent a clear message: the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh must cease immediately.

The strong turnout and fervent speeches reflected the prevailing sentiment of people and a strong sense of solidarity with the Hindus in Bangladesh, organizers commented.
