Speaking to the media, Gomati district Congress president Titen Pal said the misgovernance that started under the Bharatiya Janata Party rule failed to create employment for the unemployed. The number of unemployed youth is increasing exponentially every day. The government is not doing anything about this. The prices of goods are skyrocketing. The government has no control over it. There is constant violence, murder, and women's harassment every day.

“To unite people against this, with the goal of building a better united, secular, and progressive India, this solidarity march has started across the country from October 31, the death anniversary of the late Indira Gandhi. This solidarity march will end on October 19”, Pal said.

He added, keeping this solidarity march in mind, at the call of the Indian National Congress across the state, every village, every city will take up various programs every day keeping this solidarity march in front, and processions will be carried out. Titen Pal called on people from all parts of the state to join this solidarity march.
