Tripura CM distributes 1200 appointment letters to new recruits

Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha distributed offer letters to over 1,200 candidates selected for Group C posts through the Joint Recruitment Board of Tripura (JRBT) on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion at the Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan in Agartala today, Dr Saha emphasized the crucial role government employees play in implementing welfare programs and driving development initiatives.

"Those receiving offers today are not merely joining the workforce; they are joining the backbone of our administration," declared the Chief Minister. He lauded the dedication of countless government employees who leave a lasting legacy of efficiency and public service. "Your acceptance in the workplace is paramount," he urged the new recruits, "Ensure that every citizen seeking assistance at a government office faces no harassment."

E-Governance and Transparency: Recognizing the evolving landscape of government work, Professor Saha highlighted the importance of adapting to digital tools. "E-office management is the new reality," he stated, expressing confidence in the new recruits' ability to excel in this system. He further emphasized the state government's commitment to transparency, echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a corruption-free system.

"Tripura's dedication to development has earned praise from the central government in various fields," he declared.

Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Tinku Roy congratulated the new recruits, urging them to utilize their skills for efficient completion of government tasks. "Speed is key," he emphasized, "Only then can we ensure swift progress in our endeavors."

Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha and State Police Director General Amitabh Ranjan echoed these sentiments, highlighting the new employees' responsibility in enhancing the quality of work and promoting the government's welfare programs.

The ceremony concluded with the Chief Minister handing over offer letters to the jubilant recipients.
