The Premier Institute of Tripura, SCHOOL OF SCIENCE based in Shyamali Bazar, Agartala, in a brief ceremony held on Thursday felicitated it’s achievers in IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), through JEE (Advanced) & in IISER (Indian Institutes of Science, Education & Research) Exam – 2020.
Besides, the institute has also announced for imparting Free Coaching with Scholarship to students who would be appearing for Medical Entrance (NEET), JEE (Advanced), TBJEE & IISER Entrance Examination 2021.
Among the achievers in IIT from this institution, Baishali Das got herself admitted in IIT Kanpur with Aerospace Engineering, Gaurav Malakar got himself admitted in Computer Science in IIT Kharagpur, Siddhant Dutta Gupta and Sauramita Reang got them admitted in IIT Guwahati.
Siddhant Dutta Gupta opted for Computer Science and Sauramita Reang opted for Electronics and electrical Engineering.
Two other students from this institution cracked in IISER (Indian Institutes of Science, Education & Research) Exam – 2020. Riya Paul got herself admitted in IISER, Kolkata and Joel Debbarma got himself admitted in IISER, Bhopal.
Meanwhile, the School of Science will conduct Free Coaching with Scholarship to students who would be appearing for Medical Entrance (NEET), JEE (Advanced), TBJEE & IISER Entrance Examination 2021. T
The Coaching programme will be of 100 hours duration starting from August 18 (Wednesday) next. The programme would include Lecture Classes, Study Materials and three full Mock Tests as per the new syllabus and Exam pattern of 3 hours duration for each entrance Examination.
There will be provision for both ONLINE and OFFLINE classes and Mock Examination. However, offline classes would be provided maintaining all the Rules & Regulation due to COVID Pandemic situation.
Free coaching would be imparted to about 500 students of the state belonging to different categories. This would include 125 General students, 100 Tribal students, 100 SC students, 75 OBC students, 50 Minority students and 50 BPL students.
The selection of candidates would be done according to the marks obtained by them in their Class – X Board Examination. The repeaters are also allowed to apply in the said coaching programme.
Interested candidates who have already appeared their Class XII Board Examination may also fill-up the application form and submit the same within August 17 next during office hours, between 10.00 am to 5 pm. Application forms would be available in SCHOOL OF SCIENCE, Shyamali Bazar, from today (August 12).

The institute will also provide Scholarship to 100 students as per their performance in three Mock Tests to be conducted on August 22, August 29 and September 5, 2021 both ONLINE & OFFLINE.
