Tripura Pradesh Mahila Congress activists hit streets in Agartala on Friday with 'Jago Mahila Commission Jago' slogan.
Activists of the West Tripura Sadar District Mahila Congress held a protest rally in Agartala today, demanding action against the "rising" ncients of child and women abuse in the state.
Despite reports of such incidents are pouring in from different parts of the State, the Congress women protesters alleged, Tripura Commission for Women is in "Sleep mode".

Blaming for 'complete inactiveness' in combating the atrocities against the children and women, protestors urged the Tripura Commission for Women to wake up and play an effective role in handling such crimes.
