Results put nails on caste-based, dynastic politics, says Tripura CM

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb hailed the victories of BJP in the assembly elections of four states.

"The Assembly poll result highlighted that people trusted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ended the caste-based and dynastic politics", Deb commented. 

The Chief Minister greeted the people of the four states- Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur for keeping their faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and giving their mandate in favour of BJP. He also congratulated the Chief Ministers of the four states and All India BJP president JP Nadda. 

Speaking to the media, Deb said, “The results reflected that the countrymen want a New India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

According to Deb, the poll results of the four states are the testimony of people’s trust in the good governance being rendered by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the victory is a clear validation of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sabka Viswas mantra of the Prime Minister.

He pointed out that after 37 years, people of Uttar Pradesh gave a party second chance to rule. People of Uttar Pradesh defeated the caste-based politics and dynastic politics – and voted for BJP. It was said that BJP would not be successful in Uttarakhand – however, people gave a strong verdict in favour of BJP. BJP tasted success in Goa and Manipur. All these happened as people trusted the Prime Minister.

Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Tripura government also accelerated the pace of development in every field including healthcare, education, communication system and Public Distribution System, Deb said.

The state government is also working for women empowerment on a priority basis, the Chief Minister added.

He expressed hope that the people of Tripura would continue to keep their faith in the state government. He also called upon the people to celebrate the victory in a peaceful, responsible and disciplined manner.
