AR holds workshop on ‘Drug Abuse and Its Prevention’

Agartala, May 01, 2019: Jawans of 29 Assam Rifles conducted a ‘Workshop on Drug Abuse and its prevention’ at Sabual, Jampui Hills in North Tripura District on April 30, 2019.

The event was attended by 53 people including youth from surrounding villages. The aim of the Workshop was to sensitise the locals regarding menace of drug addiction and its effects on individuals as well as society. The Workshop also focused on role of elders and family members to wean away youth from drugs.

Efforts of Assam Rifles towards the betterment of society through such informative and awareness programme was appreciated by the villagers.
